Lita Love

Maybe it's because I'm spending so much time on Tumblr...but I am seriously lusting over Jeffery Campbell Lita's booties. Now let's be honest, I'm not a small girl, I'm 5'9 and these shoes are taaaaall! But let's get real, these are cute enough that I can rock being 6 foot something or other, it's for the sake of fashion right? The signature look of the Lita is the thick platform and chunky heel. The "classic" Lita would most likely be considered the leather shoe with the wooden heel, but the shoes come in suede, studded, lace even american flag print, so theirs a style for everybody!

You can buy Lita's online everywhere, sadly they hardly ever go on sale and for a statement shoe they have a hefty price tag starting at $160. I'm on the fence about buying a pair of these babies, I'm all about comfort so YOU tell me? Are they comfortable enough to justify the price? Are these a must? Leave your feedback in the comments bellow!

  1. Personally, I have not tried these out. I do have have boots that look super similar to these those! They have a chunky heel which is SOOOO comfy to walk in, plus it looks like it has a huge platform in it. It looks like you will be walking on two or three inches(can't really tell with the platform" but I think they would be super comfy to walk in. I mean wait until someone says that they own this shoe, because not all shoes are created equal, and see if they like them. But I own many boots that look similar to this and I can only imagine they would be a dream to walk in. I'd get them.

  2. I am about an inch taller than you, but I do own a pair of Lita's! I actually found mine on sale at Norstrom Rack for $60 so I got pretty damn lucky, but I am considering shelling out another $160 because I love them so much. You can wear them casually and you can dress them up. Honestly, for a heel as big as the Lita as, they are pretty damn comfortable. As with all heels, your feet do get sore after awhile, but that's nothing a bit of practice and tolerance can't help!
Plus, being tall shouldn't be a reason not to buy a heeled shoe. If anything, they make us hotter because they make your legs look amazing! Haha :) They are well worth the money

  8. did you end up buying these? i just bought the taupe suede ones (i thought the reddish heel on the black ones looked funny) a couple weeks ago and i took them on a trip to SF and never complained. they're surprisingly lightweight, and since there's a bit of a platform, it's not painful.
